Chapter IV: Other Hobbies & Interests
I am very curious and in my free time, I pursue many other creative endeavours. I have saved up on several occasions to go travelling and on these trips I practice my photography, journalism and photo editing skills. I also read a lot and enjoy a number of sports. Last but certainly not least, I have a strong interest in cooking and food.
Travel Book: Land of the ShintÅ Gods
I was blessed to go travelling around Japan, Korea and Thailand with my camera in 2024. I have since learned more about F-Stops, ISO settings and shutter speed, but am still immensely proud of the book I could put together when I returned home. (Some photos may take a moment to load.)
Travel Book: Southeast Asia
Before I learned how to handle my Nikon D7200, I already had an interest in photography. I could only pursue it with my iPhone 11, but nevertheless feel I was able to capture some of the magic of Bali, Vietnam and Singapore. (Some photos may take a moment to load.)

Reading became a passion for me in the Summer of 2022. I enjoy classic literature (D.H. Lawrence or Earnest Hemingway), but mostly I read non-fiction (history, astronomy or psychology) and other cultural essays. I make sure to rate everything I read on the app link below.
