Chapter II: Student at Leeds
I graduated from the BA Music Business course at the Leeds Conservatoire with an Upper Second Class degree (68pts). I specialised in marketing, politics and leadership. Here you can read some of my best research projects, including the main 'digital commerce' project which earned me a 90 in second year and the 'business enterprise' plan which was graded an 82 in my final year.
Nocturnal App Ltd - Second Year 90
This was an exemplary project where I advanced by website design and data analytics skills. I earned funding from local businesses to experiment with paid advertising and reported my findings through charts and reflective writing to the lecturers who awarded me a 90. I also greatly improved my content creation and social media marketing strategies.
Leeds Artists Ltd - Third Year 82
Here I put together a 6'000 word business plan, excluding the transcription of three primary research interviews, detailing the city's demographics and how they might inform the success of a startup live booking agency. This was an excellent opportunity for me to explore the local music scene and understand it through gathering data.
War Under Water - Third Year 71 for Songwriting
I feel passionate about environmental conservation. Below you can access part of a third year project; a song which I wrote, arranged and recorded as a protest against overfishing practices. This is a rare example of my more current songwriting ability.
